This Privacy Policy describes how M Advice Inc. ("StudyAgent", "we", "us") collects, uses, and protects information when you use the StudyAgent Chrome extension and related website (the "Service").

1. Information we collect

The StudyAgent extension and website collect the following categories of information:

• Account information: email address and password, collected when you create an account on our website to use the Service.
• Authentication tokens: after signing in, a session token is stored locally in your browser (via the Chrome storage API) to keep you signed in.
• Page content: while the AI agent is active on a course page, the extension reads visible text and interactive elements (quiz questions, answer options, buttons, links, video players) on that page in order to decide what action to take. This content is sent to our backend server to be processed by an AI model and is not stored permanently beyond what is needed to generate the next action.
• Usage data: the number of agent actions ("steps") performed per month, used to enforce subscription plan limits.
• Billing information: if you subscribe to a paid plan, payment processing is handled directly by Stripe, our payment processor. We do not store your card details on our servers.

2. How we use information

• To operate the AI agent and decide what action to take on a course page.
• To authenticate you and maintain your session.
• To enforce subscription and usage limits tied to your plan.
• To process payments through Stripe.

3. Data sharing

We do not sell or rent your personal information to third parties. Page content you interact with is sent to Anthropic's Claude API for AI processing, and payment information is processed by Stripe. We do not share data for advertising purposes.

4. Data retention

Account information is retained as long as your account is active. Page content read by the extension is used transiently to generate the next action and is not retained beyond standard application logs.

5. Your choices

You can stop the AI agent at any time using the extension's "Stop" button. You can delete your account by contacting us at the email below. You can also disable or remove the extension at any time from Chrome's extension settings.

6. Security

We use industry-standard measures, including encrypted password storage and authenticated API access, to protect your information.

7. Children's privacy

The Service is intended for students using it to assist with their own coursework and is not directed at children under 13.

8. Changes to this policy

We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with an updated revision date.
